This Artema sidestream CO₂ assembly draws a small respiratory-gas sample through a sampling line for carbon-dioxide measurement by a compatible Mindray patient monitor. The external plug-in module casing, water trap and patient sampling accessories may not be included. Application and Ordering Notes
Installation should be performed by a qualified biomedical technician. After replacement, complete the required module-recognition, zeroing, sampling-flow, leakage, occlusion, CO₂ accuracy, waveform, alarm and electrical-safety tests.
A faulty sampling line, blocked water trap, leaking tubing or damaged pump may produce symptoms similar to a defective CO₂ measurement assembly, so the complete sampling system should be checked before replacement.
